And yet a surprising amount of actually posting stuff this year!
Admittedly not quite everything managed to make it onto here, but still, did a better job of getting stuff uploaded. That's nice. Maybe this year is the year I update journals again too!
Anyway, it's been an eventful year, with many life events and travels and lots of woodwork and show finales and collaborations and floods and injuries and all those things that make this life such a wonderfully interesting trip. But I made some friends along the way, and that's been the best thing of all.

You know, you would think that after spending the last two months camped out in the shop, making literally hundreds of pony ornaments, a dozen sculptures or pieces of wall art, trying out defined eyes for the first time, and learning a thing or two about using plastics, I would have at least one single thing to post here, but they seem to all have gone into the mail as quickly as they were made.
What can you do?
Anyway, perhaps I will post some side projects as I work through them.

Hello, Good Friends!
So the other day I was thinking to myself, "Goodness, ever since that dog bite last year I've been remarkably free of injury. Time was when I always had some minor (or major) woodworking mishap, or hiking sprain, or pickup sports mishap, or some generally boneheaded accident that bruised or broke something. I wonder if I am finally becoming cautious with maturity."
