Aw man, I can't even. Big Mac was SO much fun. Maybe the most fun I've had on a pony yet, and one of my happier outcomes. I got to do hooves, complete with unshorn fetlocks (or, you know, what passes for fetlocks on a cartoon pony leg) and the short mane and tail were new and so fun. And of course, I got to make him out of bloodwood (or mahogany, see Scootaloo [link]
for my tortuous assessment of the wood I get. I'm still not sure.) so of course the smell was great. Also, inb4, I know what a horsecollar looks like, and how much his does not look like one, but I'm pretty awful at leatherwork. Lol, I even cut out the leather with wood chisels; I have no idea what I'm doing.
Anyway I had funtimes working out the male pony shape (he was made before The Doctor, just posted out of order) with the deep chest, the long, thick neck and the tapering head. You can check out more pics of Big Mac and other ponies here [link]
Big Mac is a present for Richard, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Richard!
