Dratini Minifigure in Tagua

This tiny Dratini is a tiny Dratini. Partially because the tagua nut I was using didn't really allow for a large figurine, and partly, I think, to do better than the Lyra I did on Saturday. I can't say for sure if it's smaller than the mini-Twi, but it has to be darned close if not. It's just a hair over an inch long and half an inch tall to the top of its fins. I had a little trouble with some natural imperfections in its right side. (You can see some of the cracking and off color nut in the pictures.)

On the whole it was easier than I had expected at that size, possibly because it was done in tagua, which doesn't have a grain to break along when doing work like the fins or tiny, tiiiiny horn. I had trouble getting enough contrast to show the portrait view of the face that well, but it turned out acceptably recognizable.
Anyway; I'm off to unload a drafting table and record player from my grandmother who has been spring cleaning! Top-ho!
