Just in time to deliver that backlog of holiday cards and overstuffed parcels full of sweaters, it's Mailmare Derpy to the rescue.
As a first try in working with dyes, I suppose things could have been worse, although it failed to set in a couple of spots. It was also a first time for combined wooden hair and headwear, which was at least a partial success. My design for the mane, however, ended up making carving her eyes quite difficult, and they're pretty goofy, even by Derpy standards. The mailmare uniform was fun, though! I quite enjoyed the lapels and the tie.
Eventually she'll have some saddlebags, but I think the current version is enough to merit a post. They'll probably appear later as part of a group photo, since this particular piece is part of a set for :iconlukjad: that will include Doctor Whooves and a TARDIS (hence my acquisition of the blue dye).

Really like how the blue stands out. Face seems a little wide at the front angle, yet all others seem lovely. The side view with her mane in particular turned out very well. Body proportions look great! I'm really forward to the Doctor.

The suit looks great and the coloring is really nice. I like how the hat looks and the eyes are not that bad. Amazing work as always.
