Still at Black Hills for another 6 weeks. I'm getting all sorts of great photos, but my drawing isn't keeping on keeping on. Oh well. Looks like I somehow managd to pull off 2000 hit anyhow. 2000 hits. Whew. I'm like, as famous as da Vinci now. Really though, i'm having a good time, an d getting somereally nice photos. I'll have to pload a couple more soon. I'm ready to go home already, but at least I know that I'm getting my classes done. Y'all have fun now, hear?

OK, so I'm now spending 2 months in South Dakota at a camp getting my science gen-eds. Not much goes on here of note, and it's fairly primitive: little AC or heat. Olde time compy's etc. I'm getting lots of nature photos, though, and my new camera ought to come within a couple of days.

Argh.....raarrgghhh.....
This place is so freaking boring......blegh.

So I'm finally back in Texas, b ut to be honest I was absolutely bored by the end of day one. I've got to be goin now, though, to alleviate the boredom by doing things for high scool prom...
Sigh.....

Tired, absolutely beat and ready for a break that could come if only I let myself off the hook occasionally. I'm afraid to be alone because I feel like I may be backsliding towards depression, but I really do want to just be alone for a bit. I can't believe I've gotten to be so anthro-stuff these days.... It's just weird. I like my new story, though, and my art has gotten a little better. At least I have colored pencils now.

So, yes, I have been very busy and extremely tired this quad. I haven't even written one story for my little sister; I feel really bad about it, too. The past two nights have totaled up around 5 hours of sleep together, and neither in comfortable places (once lying on my floor, another time in a chair in the floor lounge, each for about two and a half hours) I'm actually trying to learn to draw, though, and it's lots of fun. I'm still not much good, and I don't even have pencils (even crayons!) to color with, so it's all pencil sketches, but hey, happens. I seem to have caught a case of, though not furry pride by a long shot, furry accepting-myself-with-all-the-things-I-don't-like. I can't wait to get home and start reading Bernard Doove's Forest Tales again. Huzzah!
