A new pose for a new saw!
I've really wanted to do Applejack ever since a camping trip a couple of weeks ago with a visit to an orchard with just fabulous pie and caramel apples. It was wonderful, and Applejack is just the perfect pony for autumn.
Anyway, this actually isn't the final version of this set, which is a commish for
. I'm planning to set the tree up as a book-end, but none of the metal I have on hand was usable for that, so I'm waiting to go on a hardware run sometime soon. In the meantime, enjoy.
AJ obviously can't balance on her own, so she has a peg-and-hole anchor on her left hind leg that connects to the tree. I tried a yellower thread for this versions hair than I've used on previous Applejacks. Thoughts?
inb4: I am not a milliner. Hate on the hat as much as you want.
Applejack and the apple are made of bloodwood, the tree is regular old pine (although I'd have given an arm for a block of applewood to carve.)
